Strategic Oversight
The Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors represents the highest level of governance at Tsogang Water and Sanitation, ensuring that our mission to provide clean water and dignified sanitation remains on a path of sustainable growth.
The Foundation of Our Legacy
Honouring Our Founding Leadership
The strength of Tsogang Water and Sanitation today stands on the visionary shoulders of our previous Managing Directors. From our inception in 1993, Malcolm White laid the essential groundwork, establishing the organization as a functioning entity and navigating the complex early funding landscapes of the new South Africa.
This foundation was expanded by John Kings, whose sixteen-year tenure (1994β2010) championed community development and spearheaded the strategic growth that defined our early footprint. His successor, Mary McDermott Kings, provided over a decade of dedicated service, leading the organization through critical phases of professionalization and stability. Together, their combined leadership ensured that the call to "Wake Up" (Tsogang) translated into permanent, life-changing infrastructure for thousands.
